Ryan ReynoldsA recent Instagram post mentioned that he had no particular desire to put on the Deadpool suit… and although many thought this was a reference to his wife's lawsuit against him Justin BaldoniTMZ has learned that's not the case.
Here's the deal… in a post to his Instagram Story on Monday night, Ryan shared a clip in the Deadpool suit alongside Kidpool to raise money for the SickKids Foundation.
It's a 90-second clip featuring the “Wonder Woman” star Lynda Carter — and it's all for a good cause… but in his Instagram Story post, he thanked the director for directing this spot “at a time when I really didn't feel like putting on the suit.”
Apparently, fans online immediately thought that RR was referring to the sexual harassment lawsuit Blake Lively Lawsuit filed against her “It Ends With Us” co-star Baldoni.
However, a source close to Reynolds told us that the wording wasn't an emotional expression… he has to maintain a certain weight to get back into the suit, which isn't necessarily easy or fun.
We're told Reynolds paid for the entire campaign himself, so he didn't actually want to do all the training for the 90-second clip… but the organization is worth it — so he did.
This is the eighth year Reynolds has worked with SickKids — and he would do anything for them.
As you know…Blake filed suit against Baldoni The allegations of sexual harassment were a coordinated attempt to destroy her reputation.
Baldoni has denied all claims… and it's obviously the start of a long, stressful legal battle between the two sides.
But that's not why Reynolds didn't want to don the red and black spandex again.
