Sam Darnold remains in the gray area with respect to his future in the NFL, with questions about his time with the Vikings of Minnesota.
After joining the team last season, the 27-year-old took the Vikings to a 14-3 season that ended in the Commodines Round in a defeat against the Rams.
However, his success in his first season with Minnesota led Darnold's first Bowl assent, joining six of his teammates in Orlando this weekend.
Speaking to Dailymail.com in the practices of the Pro Bowl games on Saturday, Darnold expressed his confidence in his work ethics while approaching free agency.
“It is the work that I have been putting in all my career what gives me that validation,” Darnold said. “Continue to trust the work I put regardless of the results.”
“I think that for me the most important thing is to solve that with my agent when it is correct,” he added when asked about his future with the Vikings.
Sam Darnold remained shy about his future with Minnesota after having an impressive season
The season of his Darnold career led to his first Bowl assent along with six of his teammates.
“But at this time, I will worry about enjoying this moment with these boys and all my teammates who also did it here.”
Jonathan Greenard, Bryon Murphy, Brian O'Neil and Andrew Van Ginkel made their Pro Bowl debuts with Darnold. Meanwhile, Andrew Depaola and Justin Jefferson made third and fourth appearance, respectively.
After being selected by the Jets with the third general selection in 2018, the USC product remained in East Rutherford for three years. From there, he spent two seasons with the Carolina Panthers and a lonely season with the San Francisco 49ers, where he had a race campaign.
Darnold signed an one -year agreement and $ 10 million with the Vikings and recovered impressively from the previous season.
He completed 361 of 545 attempts for 4,319 yards and 35 touchdowns, all the numbers of his career.
Although Darnold has been shy about his future, he has been linked to several teams, including Steelers, Seahawks and Saints.
