A magnificent seven Sport Sports writers for Gongs in the prestigious 2025 press awards have been preselected, as we continue to lead the way in sports journalism.
The main sports writer Oliver Holt and Ian Herbert have been nominated for the Hugh McCilvanney award for the sports journalist of the year.
Charlotte Daly and Isaan Khan are in the race for the interviewer of the tabloids of the year for their blunt pieces.
Andy Hooper and Kevin Quigley are on the list of sports photographers of the year and our itinerant reporter AADAM Patel is nominated in the category of young journalist of the year.
The winners will be announced on a celebration night on May 22.
