Talk about a “holy crap” moment… check out this crazy video of a boy in China being literally swept off his feet after a sewer explodes beneath him.
The wild footage was captured by a witness in China's Gansu province last Friday. The youth is seen walking to a sewer opening and throwing a firecracker into it.
Suddenly the street explodes beneath his feet and he flies high into the air with all the rubble. The boy soon falls back to earth on concrete steps and suffers serious injuries.
Bystanders rush towards him to check if he is okay as he lies motionless on the ground.
The boy was reportedly taken to a hospital where he was treated for his injuries. The good news is that he is expected to survive.
What's the lesson here…Don't play with fireworks near sewers!
