Sexy red is included Martin Luther King Jr.after she posted an AI picture of herself dancing with the late civil rights legend.
Here's what happened… In honor of Martin Luther King Jr. Day on Monday, Sexyy Red posted a generated image of herself dancing near the late activist on X.
She also uploaded a photo of herself dressed in a plunging red dress photoshopped next to MLK during the 1963 March for Jobs and Freedom on Washington.
While Sexyy Red's uploads received over 50,000 likes, one person was less pleased with the bold tribute… Bernice KingMLK's youngest child and fellow civil rights activist Coretta Scott King.
As Bernice put it online… Sexyy Red's post was “intentionally distasteful, dishonorable, regrettable and disrespectful” not only to the King family, but also to MLK himself.
She added… “(My father) is not here to answer himself because he was murdered for standing up for your civil and human rights and for ending war and poverty.”
Before signing her note, Bernice advised the rapper to delete the post… and it seems Sexyy Red heard BK's message loud and clear, as she has since deleted one of her uploads.
However, not everyone believes Sexyy Red was in the wrong – not even the rapper BluefaceHis mother asked Bernice to apologize to SR for the shadow.
Do you think Sexyy Red was disrespectful?
We reached out to Sexyy Red's rep about the drama, who had “no comment.”
