Shocking moment the star of the high school runway is attacked by the opponent who pushes the cane during the race

The track championships covered in Virginia were fogged by a shameless attack of a corridor when he used the baton in his relay race as a weapon against an opponent.

The attack took place during the 4x200m relay event of the Class 3 VSHL Indoor State Championship held at the University of Liberty campus in Lynchburg.

Kaelen Tucker was running the second stage of the relay for Lynchburg Brookville high school when she went to make a pass around another corridor in a battle for second place.

Instead of fighting, his opponent in that battle, which attended the IC NORCOM High School in the state Hampton Roads, decided to take more aggressive measures.

The normcom corridor wounded his right arm back and hit the cane he carried through Tucker's head as seen in the video of the incident.

The gasps were heard inside the liberty interior track complex while Tucker decreased speed, stumbled and then fell to the ground inside the course.

His mother and team coaches were seen running to their aid, since the Norcom corridor seemed to continue on their way.

“I still can't believe it, I'm in a state of shock.” Tucker said, who rests at home with his family, According to ABC Wset's local affiliate. “I'm still trying to assimilate everything, I can't believe it happened.”

The judges at the meeting could see the attack and disqualified the NORCOM team for 'contact interference', or physically interfere with the actions of another corridor.

Wset says that Tucker is currently being treated by a brain shock and a possible skull fracture.

The corridor's mother, Tamarro Tucker, told the news station that no one from the Norcom team came to verify if her daughter was fine.

In addition, his mother says that no one from the team has offered any kind of apology for the behavior of his corridor just after it happened.

'They do not apologize. There are no coaches. No athlete. There is nothing. Even if it was an accident, I don't think it were … nothing, '' said Tamarro Tucker.

Kaelen told the news station that all he wants to know is: “Why did you do it and why haven't you apologized?”

In a statement to Wset, the VSHL, the governing body of Virginia High School Sports, said they do not comment on individuals or disciplinary actions, but added: “The actions taken by the director of the meeting were appropriate and correct.”

VSHL added that they continued to review the situation and qualified it “a serious problem, especially when it involves the security of athletes in competitions.”

The Tucker family says they approached the corridor's parents who hit Kaelen and the Atlético director of IC NORCOM after the incident. Both have apologized on the student's name.

It is not clear if the Tucker family is considering presenting positions.
