The popular football show, the front front returned for a new season of laughs on Wednesday night, but it is not likely that an error during the transmission has impressed the bosses in channel seven.

The series, organized by comedians Mick Molloy and Sam Pang and sports journalist Andrew Maher, has returned this year with a newly coined drink partner, Hahn.

In 2021, the program was authorized by any irregularity after an investigation of the television advertising surveillance agency on states that the program is a glorified beer advertisement.

The panel of the community of advertising standards investigated the program, which was sponsored by Carlton Draft at that time, after a spectator complained about an episode that was issued on June 3 of that year.

The spectator claimed that the transmission violated the Code of Ethics of the Australian Association of National Advertisers by not revealing that the program was carried out in association with a beer company.

The plaintiff wrote: 'The commentators of the football show drinking beer. In beer while talking about football. My grandchildren look at this program.

'I can see pure and simple, they are advertising beer. I've seen television for many, many years to know this.

Carlton & United Breweries responded to the complaint saying that advertising in the front bar was “clearly distinguishable.”

“Cub respectfully presents that any reasonable spectator is sponsored by Carlton Draft, and Carlton Draft's advertising is open and clearly distinguishable,” said the brewer.

Carlton had been a partner of the front bar since 2015.

The set had Carlton Branding and the hosts must mention the sponsorship of Carlton Draft at least three times by episode 'as part of the commercial agreement.

The panel of the community of advertising standards dismissed the complaint and said in its ruling: “The panel considered that the regular viewers of the program would be familiar with the aspect of sponsorship of the program, and also considered that a first -time or irregular spectator would clearly recognize it as a sponsored program due to the placement and clear references of the products.”
