Steven Gerrard's daughter Lilly has announced her first pregnancy with boyfriend Lee Byrne, son of jailed Irish gangster Liam Byrne.
The 20-year-old confirmed her pregnancy in an Instagram post on Sunday night, meaning her father, a former Liverpool and England footballer, whose birthday is on May 30, will be 45 years old when the child is born.
Sharing a photo of her positive pregnancy test, she wrote: 'Our little secret. The best news… the mini us is on the way.'
His parents currently reside in Bahrain, while Steven manages Saudi Arabian club Al Ettifaq in the Saudi Pro League.
The former Liverpool and England ace has four children with his wife Alex – daughters Lilly, Lexie, 18, Lourdes, 13, and a son called Lio, eight.
In response to her daughter's post, she wrote: 'We can't wait. Congratulations and we love you.'
Lilly's partner, with whom she was first linked in 2022, is the son of Kinahan cartel gangster Liam Byrne, who is currently serving a five-and-a-half year prison sentence for a plot to store a cache of machine guns. .

The couple became an item after Lee moved into a gated community in Freshfield, one of Merseyside's most desirable postcodes.
The Byrne and Gerrard families are said to have bonded since the young couple began dating, with Lee describing Alex Gerrard, Steven's stunning wife, as his second mother.
There is no suggestion that Lee or any member of the Gerrard family are involved in crime.

Following the announcement of her pregnancy, Lilly shared a photo of “mom” and “dad” coffee mugs with her Instagram followers.
The famous footballer-turned-coach posted a photo of him and Lilly as a baby on his 20th birthday in 2024.
Lilly is the eldest of Gerrard's three children with wife Alex and regularly shares updates of her glamorous life on social media.

Gerrard and his family currently live in a luxurious six-bedroom villa near members of Bahrain's royal family and other members of the country's elite.
