Storm Reid finally explains why she's not returning for Season 3 of Euphoria … and tells us there's too much going on in her life to reprise her role.
We caught up with Storm in downtown Los Angeles and our photographer asked her straight away why she's one of the few Euphoria stars not making it into the new season.
Storm attributes it to a scheduling issue… and tells us she's busy graduating from USC and working with her production company. She confirmed she wouldn't be joining the cast in November, but no one knew why she was leaving the hugely popular show.
Euphoria just started filming its new season, and by the time the series airs this year, it will have been more than six years since its debut… and almost four years since the end of season two… both of which are pretty large gaps.
Storm, who played Gia Bennett on the Emmy-winning series, says the series will still be a cultural phenomenon when it returns to HBO… and she's excited to watch it.
So while she tells us she's too busy to film, Storm says she has enough time to sit on the couch to tune in, at least on Sunday nights.
Sounds like there's no bad blood here either… Storm tells us why she'll miss being on set with the cast and crew.
The storm isn't coming back, though Zendaya, Sydney Sweeney, Jacob Elord, Alexa Demie, Colman Domingo, Eric Dane, Hunter Shepherd And Maude Apatow are all ready to return.
