Tennis legend Pam Shriver had her Grand Slam trophies stolen while fleeing the Palisades wildfire and revealed she no longer feels safe living in Los Angeles amid extreme weather and theft of her items.
Shriver, a 21-time Grand Slam doubles winner, was forced to evacuate to a hotel in Marina Del Rey after the Palisades fire started, and a car filled with her praise was looted shortly after.
“Right now in Los Angeles it's hard to feel safe because of natural disasters, fires and crime,” he said. FOX 11 Los Angeles' Matthew Seedorff.
'I spent the first 38 years (of my life) in Baltimore; Since then I have been here almost 30 years. But I'm thinking about where my next community will be where I'll feel safe.”
In a separate post to X, Seedorff said Shriver's vehicle was a black Dodge Durango Hellcat.
The Baltimore native was the world number one in doubles at her peak and won an incredible seven Australian Opens, four French Opens, five Wimbledons and five US Opens.

Shriver won an impressive 21 Grand Slam doubles championships in his legendary career.

He also reached the final of the US Open in 1978 in singles and reached eight other semifinals in majors playing solo.
The fires have collectively burned more than 40,000 acres of land and caused 27 deaths, according to the California Department of Forestry and Fire Protection.
Much of that destruction is due to the Palisades Fire, which as of Sunday night is still only 52 percent contained.
Shriver is far from the only sports figure to have been affected by the wildfires, with Olympic hero Gary Hall Jr. losing his home and most likely all 10 of his Olympic medals.
LeBron James and his family were also forced to evacuate their home in Brentwood.
“Personally, I've been out of line,” James told reporters after his team beat the Heat earlier this week.
'Personally, my family has been evacuated since Thursday night, so I've been in a hotel pretty much since we got back from Dallas. So let's just find out. But staying strong for each other. Obviously, that's the most important thing.”
James' Lakers head coach, JJ Redick, also lost his home in the Palisades fire.
And Warriors coach Steve Kerr also saw his childhood home reduced to rubble by fires.
