Juan Soto laughed for the last time with the perfect response to a Heckler when the New York Mets faced the San Luis cardinals in spring training on Monday.
During the game in Clover Park in Port St. Lucie, a fan who wore a green pole was filmed shouting 'paid in excess' and 'oversized' repeatedly when Soto was standing in the garden.
A video posted by Barstool Sports shows Soto recognizing the Heckler looking at him intensely.
Later in the game, Soto threw a ball right in the area where the Heckler was. Despite his negativity, the fan ended up boxing to try to catch the ball while descending on the fence.
However, his capture was not as effective as his skills for the ball seemed to go through his hands and further in the field where fans waited.
The Heckler fell to the ground in his failed effort, while Soto smiled while he met the bases.
