The former chief of Michael Schumacher, Jean Todt, has opened his relationship with the formula one icon after his horror ski accident in 2013.
Schumacher, 56, was involved in an accident that changed life for 12 years and has not made a public appearance since then.
His family has been interested in maintaining Schumacher's privacy while receiving permanent medical attention, with only a few people capable of visiting the German superstar.
Todt, who was director of the Ferrari team for five of the seven victories of the Schumacher World Championship, has revealed that he remains in contact with his former employee and will regularly visit him as a friend.
