The Dodgers pitcher, Dustin May, revealed that he needed emergency surgery last July due to a complete complete accident 'injury he suffered while having dinner.

Later he continued: 'He simply gives me a different point of view about many things in life. Just seeing how something related to baseball can be, it can disappear in a second. And the things I put my wife, definitely gave me (a feeling) of 'wow, things can change like this'. It was definitely very scary.
May lost the rest of the 2024 season of the Dodgers after submitting to surgery, although he added that he would probably not survive if it were not for the procedure.
It happened to win the World Series without him, beating the Yankees in the final stage.
May is now fighting for a place in the Dodgers list while trying to leave the terrible experience behind him.
