Another NFL player's home has been broken into…this time the Atlanta Falcons defenseman's apartment Antonio Hamilton Sr. was broken into early Friday morning.
According to a Roswell Police Department incident report obtained by TMZ SportsAround midnight, police officers were called to Hamilton Sr.'s Georgia home after the football player told them his home security camera system had filmed three men searching his home.
According to the report, the suspects broke in through a back door with a gavel/gavel while Hamilton Sr. was on vacation … and took a safe with them – before fleeing the apartment within minutes.
Officers said they used K9 rifles to find the thieves after they arrived at the scene, although they were ultimately unable to locate them in the area.
However, according to the documents, officers managed to find the safe taken from the apartment near a fence of the house. They say it contained “firearms and several expensive handbags.”
Hamilton Sr. – who celebrates his 32nd birthday on Friday – appeared to comment on the matter on his Instagram page shortly after it all went down… sharing a Bible verse that read: “And since you don't know when that time was. “ will come, be careful!
It's not clear whether the Hamilton burglary is related to other burglaries at NFL players' homes in recent months – the Roswell Police Department's investigation is ongoing.
Hamilton Sr. played nine years in the NFL, appearing in 109 games. He is scheduled to become a free agent this offseason after signing a one-year, $1.37 million contract with the Falcons in 2024.
