Sadio Mane and his teenage wife Aisha Tamba have baptized their newborn daughter Animata in her homeland in Senegal.
The former Liverpool star, 32, and Tama, 19, married in January 2024, before Tama returned to school to complete their studies.
He only left school eight months ago to join Mane in Saudi Arabia after his transfer to Al-Nassr in 2023, but the couple welcomed their first child earlier this month and baptized her last Thursday.
The ceremony took place in the capital of Senegal, Dakar, and was held at the House of the Uncle of Mane.
Tamba's mother made a great arrival with a traditional yellow dress, while her father dressed completely white for the cheerful occasion.
A video of the ceremony showed family members dancing and applauding while celebrating the baptism of Animata.

It was a cheerful occasion, with family and friends dancing and applauding during the ceremony.
The uncle of Mane, Ibrahima Toure, made a statement to mark the baptism on the steps outside his home where he paid tribute to the footballer and his family.
There has been a lot of the age gap between Mane and his wife since he was 31 when they got married, while Tama was only 18 years old.
It is believed that Mane met Tamba when he was 16 and paid his last years at school, and his father revealed that the star first put his eyes “more than two years” before the wedding.
Tamba's father said last year: 'My wife and Aisha visited his family (Mane) someday, and this is where he first met her.
'He (MAN) probably saw something special about her and her parents also appreciated her. They came to see me.
'We discuss according to tradition, we agree everything and hope this day will happen. They were not dating because Aisha was still young.
In January, Mane talked about starting a family with Tamba when he revealed how many children he would like to have with his wife.

Male scored the day after baptism and dedicated his goal to his daughter by making a rockeadora motion for her celebration.
“If it's just one choice, I would say three or four (children),” he told Senepeopleplus. 'Except that it is God who decides and I will thank you regardless of what.
Whatever the number, I will accept it. I am leaning more towards three or four and we will see on the rest.
Male returned to Saudi Arabia shortly after Thursday's baptism to play in the Al-Nassr match against Al-Kholood on Friday night.
Al-Nassr won a 3-1 victory, with Mane scoring the second of his team, and dedicated his goal to his daughter by making a rock motion for his celebration.
