Thomas Tuchel has spoken with exiled defender Ben White while the chief coach of England prepares to appoint his first team.

The German coach Tuchel officially began working on January 1 and has spent the last seven weeks watching numerous games in Europe, while also holds direct conversations with several players while finishing his team.

It remains to be seen if White is included in the Tuchel party next month before the games against Latvia and Albania after the Arsenal defender was not available for the international service from the 2022 World Cup after a disagreement with the then Assistant coach Steve Holland in the tournament.

Speaking in December, Tuchel revealed that he would contact White about a possible return to England's fold, with those conversations that are believed to take place now.

It is not clear if the conversations will lead to White, which is again after a dismissal of three months after knee surgery, returning to the availability of England, without indications of how the conversation was.

Arsenal is giving blank to make its decision and will support any choice you choose.

White, who can play in defense and even the center of the central field, would provide great versatility to Tuchel if he wants to play again for England, a clear benefit for any international coach, particularly during tournaments.

On the right side, the usual position of White, England already has people like Kyle Walker, Trent Alexander-Arnold, Reece James and Tino Livramento.

But having the option of selecting White again would arrive as an impulse to Tuchel as he begins his reign as head of England.
