A man who was supposedly involved in a street fight now infamous with the figure of Nrl Paul Kent opened on his side of that night's story.

Kent, 55, was fired by News Corp after the incident on April 27, 2024.

He was subsequently put in a two -year -old good behavior link and avoided a conviction after he and Tamer Uzun were involved in a wild fight near Rozelle de Totti inside the west of Sydney.

During an interview with the Sydney Morning Herald, Kent had approached criticism about how he has been hard with the 'snowflakes' that have cited mental health problems after getting into trouble, but had claimed to suffer mental health problems when he faced the courts for a Afraced position.

He revealed that he had tried to use mental health problems as an excuse for fray office because his lawyers advised him to do so.

Uzun criticized Kent for this.

“It is a pity that he has been critical of the people who follow the path of mental health to avoid punishment, and then become part of his narrative in the advice of a lawyer,” he said, “he said The Sydney Morning Herald.

Uzun, 35, declared himself innocent of a position of AfraƱa and will return to the courts in July.

Reflecting on the fight, Uzun said: “The truth is that I had no idea that the person was Paul Kent,”

“I can tell you that he began to abuse my friend first before things intensified.”

It is understood that Uzun had been to dinner with his wife and another couple when the incident took place.

The former NRL360 journalist had been hospitalized with a collapsed lung and several broken ribs after night fights.

'Keep saying that you have the CCTV images. Well, I hope I release it, “Uzun said.

'My friend became really scared and frozen, and that was when I had to ask the person, Paul Kent, to go back and leave us alone. It was then that he began to threaten and abuse the two.

It also alleges that Kent had been drinking strongly that night. “My lawyer has the hotel video (Sackville) (where Kent was drinking before the incident),” said Uzun.

'And apart from the video that shows him drinking alcohol, there is also vision of him in the shadow. After 20 beers, who would you believe? I was ready for a fight.

'After it happened, Paul approached … and stayed on top of me and continued screaming abuse and spit on my face. It was then that those strangers and my wife ran and intervened and arrested them both. All these lies about me saying something about him is a woman that Basher is false, and that vision (of the fight) out of Totti (restaurant) will show you the truth.

Meanwhile, Kent is currently returning to the media, and the journalist began a new podcast.

Responding to Uzun's claims, Kent said: “I would disappoint me if I didn't give him a different version,” Kent said about Uzun's claims.

'I am not interested in answering. The last time did not end too well.
