A mayor in Illinois could try to clean up the streets of the city … but she can't even keep peace at her own meeting of the city administration presidency – because the friend is ready to fight against every fool who kicks.
The video of the meeting in Dolton – a small suburb south of Chicago – circulates online … begins when an activist steps on the podium to insult the mayor Tiffany Henyard.
Take a look at the clip … The man calls Henyard, among other things, a “half-hearted mayor”-and underlines his comments with “You went, bitch!”
Another man – supposedly Henyards BF – takes an exception to the comments … to make the other, apparently ready to throw your hands.
There are no de-escalation tactics here … blows are thrown and Mayor Henyard himself can even be seen in the fight-or maybe she has tried to break the fight instead of joining herself.
Ultimately, the struggle ends and everyone goes separate paths … But some residents spoke after the fight with ABC News and called the whole situation a “embarrassment”.
The fight follows an investigation by the former mayor in Chicago Lori Lightfoot – Investigation to the behest of the village of Dolton's Board of Trustees.
She has accused Henyard and others in her administration to hide the financial illness of her community from trustees and members of the public. Henyard resorted to the allegations … and described the investigation as “political retribution”.
We turned to Henyard … so far not a word back.
