The new improbable television rival

  • It has been following the performance of Sam Lalor for Richmond this weekend

An unlikely words war between two television stations has exploded on Monday.

The icy dispute related to the Selection of Draft Number 1, Sam Lalor, debut this weekend for Richmond, with the 18 -year -old rising star, putting the world of football into account with a sensational performance.

The Tigers achieved an amazing return against Carlton on Thursday, with the Adam Yze team down by 27 points in the first quarter before scoring six goals in a row to eclipse their bitter rivals to claim a victory of 13.4 (82) 9.15 (69).

In debut, Lalor looked well above his years. His movement around the park was excellent with the young midfielder receiving 18 touches about football while starting two goals.

While a lot of exaggeration has already revolved around the young man, and many compare it with the legend withdrawal of Richmond Dustin Martin, Lalor seems to be thriving under any pressure to live up to the mantle of the three times norms of Norm Smith.

David King was one this weekend who also compared Lalor with Dusty. During the game, Lalor put the multitude of McG standing with a great brand in the wing.

Look that. That is a show that Richmond fans have probably been … let's be honest, that could easily be number 4 in the back, '' King said during the live coverage of Fox Footy's game.

'It could be Dustin Martin flying through the air, it looks exactly like him as this child moves.

“Not to press it too much, but it looks good.”

But the racing correspondent, David Gatley, pointed to the former star of North Melbourne for his comments, seeing some of King's previous shots.

'Kingy !!!!' Gatley wrote about X in response to King comparisons between Lalor and Martin.

'Also Kingy: Reece Conca will be a better player Dustin Martin … OH and Chris Fagan cannot train. #PredDdictionsNotastrongsuit ', he added, with an emoji of' face of laughs'.

King, meanwhile, responded with his own sled.

“Tomorrow you will see your advice closely and review as a Saturday set that once outside, bet well,” he replied.

He added: 'Do you want me to check your mail/tips from Melbourne or Sydney? Your call.

But he did not end there, with King pressed on the matter during his breakfast program in Sen with Kane Cornes on Monday morning.

'I no longer have the energy to fight. It is a race typter. He is not a damn, why is he making me a crack? King said before reviewing Gatley racing tips for the weekend.

Gatley had chosen only one winner in 10 races.

'He had a bad smell, he obtained one of 10 in Caulfield. I could do that! He paid $ 3.60 ', King replied.

“He has had him, one does not have him.”
