Wade Boggs is cancer free! The legend of Tampa Bay Rays shared the incredible news on their social networks on Friday afternoon, thanking their doctors and the public for their prayers.
Boggs revealed last September that he had been diagnosed with prostate cancer, and he kept his fans published on his health trip.
Now, the member of the 66 -year -old baseball fame has shared his status of remission.
“An extremely emotional day, I cannot thank Dr. Engleman and Dr. Heidenberg of my doctor also enough for all for his thoughts and prayers Debbie and I am pleased to announce that I am free of cancer,” Boggs said in X.
To a fan who wrote 'Base hit!' For Boggs, he replied, saying: “home run.”
The last important update of BOGGS occurred in November, when he said he underwent his last treatment for the disease.

Boggs is probably better known for its 10 -year period with Boston's red socks and finally signed with their archirival, the New York Yankees, before the beginning of the 1993 season.
After helping the Yankees win the World Series in 1996, Boggs spent the last two years of his career with the Rays.
Boggs made his shirt withdraw both for the red socks and the Rays and has been included in the Famas Salon of both teams.
Boggs is widely considered one of the best third of all time, along with George Brett, Mike Schmidt and Brooks Robinson.
