TJ Holmes And Amy Rob agree David Muir Carrying a clothespin doesn't look good… but they say it might not be his fault – because there are always too many cooks in the kitchen.

The two former ABC News anchors spoke about the viral moment on their show “Amy & TJ” in an episode titled “Does This Fire Make Me Look Fat?”
Holmes & Robach are taking a few stabs at the move … claiming it will certainly seem insensitive to many people who lost their homes in the Pacific Palisades wildfire and other fires in the Los Angeles area.

However, TJ and Amy don't blame Muir for the switch, mentioning that during a live taping, a host is with a producer and a wardrobe man in general… and when not live and on air, adjustments are made.
Sometimes the presenter doesn't even look up or pay attention to what's happening around him when he's on the phone and getting new information, they say – so there's no guarantee that Muir asked about the clothespin… it could have been given to him just created.
Holmes praised Muir as one of the hardest-working guys in the news industry … and he clearly has a lot of respect for the star.
Amy notes that when she set out to report, she made a concerted effort not to appear TOO glamorous… for fear of upsetting someone in the midst of a real tragedy by seeming too concerned with her appearance.
As we told you before…Muir appeared on a show with the clothespin on January 8th – but on January 9th he was I threw away the pen completely, so that the jacket falls naturally.
Moral of the story… TJ and Amy don't blame David for his wardrobe – but looks still count!
