Tom Brady appoints Pete Carroll as chief coach of Las Vegas Raiders



Tom Brady has appointed Pete Carroll as chief coach of Las Vegas Raiders.

The 73 -year -old man signed a three -year contract with the option of a fourth season, according to Adam Schefter of ESPN.

According to the reports, Brady was anxious to appoint the former head of the Detroit Lions, Ben Johnson, for the position, but Johnson finally decided to take care of the Chicago Bears.

Carroll has had a year without training at the NFL after leaving his position at the Seattle Seahawks, but had been working as an advisor in the franchise.

Carroll won the 2013 Super Bowl with the Seahawks: they beat the Denver Broncos 43-8 at the Metlife Stadium.

Inherited a team that endured a terrible season under the command of his predecessor Antonio Pierce, who was fired by Brady after a 4-13 season in Las Vegas.

Carroll and his new team have the sixth selection in the NFL draft and a lot of work to do to rebuild the template, with immediate questions about who is her field marshal.
