It has been revealed that Tom Brady wants Ben Johnson to take over as the new head coach of the Las Vegas Raiders.

Brady is personally involved in the recruiting of the Detroit Lions' offensive coordinator and the seven-time Super Bowl winner is “in love” with him. according to NFL insider Ian Rapoport.

Brady, a minority owner of the Raiders, also spent time with Johnson's agent, Rapoport said.

The Raiders released Antonio Pierce earlier this week and it was claimed that Brady had reached out to gauge Bill Belichick's interest in the position.

But Brady's former New England Patriots head coach just joined the college game with North Carolina and is believed to be happy to stay for now.

Johnson has interest from several NFL teams; Earlier Saturday, he interviewed with the Chicago Bears for their vacant head coaching position.
