A passenger who filmed the terrible evacuation of the Delta flight, which was turned upside down in Canada, talks about chaos and fears that everyone has experienced on board.
Pete Koukov shared his frightening account on Tuesday in the “Today” show and described the wild moment the day before -when he and the other passengers left “like bats like bats” after the Delta endeavor flight from Minneapolis to Toronto after landing was turned over.
Pete said he didn't know that something was wrong for the plane to hit the ground. Then he looked out of the window, just to see sparks and flames against the earth.
He said they all hang on their seat belts, but he and the lady next to him managed to move away quickly and lower the floor – which was actually the roof in this case.

Pete said the crew said to everyone that it should not move first, so that some passengers were there for a minute … but then the chaos broke out when people started to get out.
Despite the disturbance, Pete gave the cabin crew props and said that the evacuation was impressively organized and added that the intoxication of people became understood when they realized that they were largely okay for them.

Delta said that 21 passengers were taken to the hospital after the crash, whereby 19 had already been released by Tuesday morning. As with a miracle, none of the 76 passengers and four crew members lost their lives. The cause of the crash is still being examined.
