Postecoglou has a history of winning trophies during his second club season.
He won the Australian title with South Melbourne and Brisbane Roar and the Japanese championship with Yokohama F Marinos, all in his second or second full season in charge.
Postecoglou also won the Asian Cup two years after becoming Australia manager and the Scottish title in both seasons with Celtic.
