Tottenham has completed an agreement for the Atlético de San Patricio Mason Melia striker.
Melia, 17, becomes the second teenager to sign the Spurs in the space of 24 hours after they finished a loan movement for Mathys Tel of Bayern Munich the day of the deadline.
St Patrick, who plays in the Ireland League, confirmed the transfer on Tuesday night, since they revealed that Melia will join Tottenham for a record rate for a first level Irish player.
A club statement said: 'ST Patrick's Athletic can confirm that we have agreed to the transfer of Mason Melia to Tottenham Hotspur for an unleashed rate, which is a record transfer rate for a player in the Ireland League.
“Mason, who turns 18 in September, will remain in Richmond Park for the 2025 season of the Ireland League, and will move to Tottenham on January 1, 2026”.
Melia has several records at St Patrick's, having become the youngest holder in the 15 -year -old league in 2023.

He is also the youngest scorer in the history of St Patrick and the Ireland League after a network several times before his 16th birthday.
His current record at St Patrick is in 10 goals in 54 senior appearances.
He has also played for the Republic of Ireland U-17, and obtained his first Sub-21 call in October.
Melia will not reach northern London for another 11 months, but it is another sign that the Spurs intend to build a side for the long -term future.
Angecoglou has already put his faith in teenagers such as Archie Gray, Lucas Bergvall and Mikey Moore this season, while Oyindamola Ajayi, 19, left the bank to score his first senior goal in a 3-0 victory against Elfsborg La last week.
Melia is the fourth firm of the winter window for the Spurs, joining Tel, goalkeeper Antonin Kinsky and Back Kevin Danso center.
