Travis Kelce arrives at Chiefs-Texans playoff game with Taylor Swift already there to support him

Travis Kelce arrived at Arrowhead Stadium before the Kansas City Chiefs' first playoff game of the season against the Houston Texans.

The Chiefs' bid for a historic third Super Bowl begins Saturday afternoon with Kelce's girlfriend, Taylor Swift, in attendance.

The singer was photographed exclusively by DailyMail.com leaving her New York apartment earlier Saturday and heading to an airport to fly to Kansas City.

Kelce arrived at the home of the defending champions wearing a light pink cardigan over a white T-shirt and a pair of baggy jeans.

She also completed the outfit with a multi-colored hat and pink shoes to match her coat.

In what will be a complete family affair, Kelce's brother Jason will also be at the game in his role as ESPN announcer.

The Texans game will be Kelce's first since the Christmas Day victory over the Pittsburgh Steelers that clinched the No. 1 seed in the AFC.

Chiefs starters like Kelce, Patrick Mahomes and Chris Jones were rested against the Denver Broncos in Week 18 before their wild-card round bye, meaning they should be well-rested.

With Kansas City on the verge of doing something no one has done before, they could be forgiven for having their minds set on that goal.

But Kelce dismissed any notion that they are worried, saying the team is focused on the task immediately before them.

“I haven't heard anyone talk about anything like three shifts, anything like that,” Kelce told Chris Berman in an interview with ESPN.

'We are focused on the Houston Texans right now. “Anybody can get beat in the playoffs if they don't come in with the right mentality, the right mentality.”

While Kansas City is certainly poised for a third title (going 15-2 in the regular season and earning home-field advantage during the playoffs), history is not on its side.

Of the previous eight teams to attempt a third title (Pittsburgh had two attempts), no consecutive champion has even reached a third consecutive Super Bowl, much less won the Big Game.

Speculation is rife that Kelce could retire after this season, meaning the Texans game could be his last if the Chiefs lost.

The 35-year-old experienced a drop in production this season, leading many to wonder if he might consider hanging up his cleats once the 2024 campaign ends.

Swift and her entourage were seen leaving her Manhattan home early Saturday morning.

Two luxury vehicles were seen leaving the singer's home as she headed to Kansas City.

Speaking on ESPN's First Take, former NFL quarterback Dan Orlovsky believes the possibility of Kelce ending his career after a third title is “a very real thing.”

'Kelce is fully capable of making a difference. “I think he still has a great streak left,” Orlovsky said.

“I think if he goes and has that classic Kelce performance, which I think he's capable of, and two, he'll do it, and they go on and do it three times, I think retirement becomes something very real for Travis Kelce.

'There would be nothing more to achieve. He would be arguably the greatest tight end of all time. He would be the tight end who was part of the only (Chiefs) three-peat in NFL history.

“He's obviously later in his career. I don't think there's anything left. And I think there's still something elite, great, difference-making, vintage, 'Oh my God, he did it again.'

Kelce has been addressing rumors about his retirement all week while on a media tour before KC opens its playoffs this weekend against the Houston Texans in the AFC divisional round.

“I love everything I'm doing… but at the end of the day, I'm not having that extreme success on the field,” Kelce said on 'The Stephen A. Smith Show.' 'I'm excited for the next games… to finish this season.

“I'll re-evaluate it like I always do, (and) I'll probably tell myself how much I love this and come back next year.”

Kelce also says he has felt nothing but totally supported by his pop star girlfriend, Taylor Swift.

“She is fully encouraging me to enjoy playing this game,” Kelce told Smith, adding, “I've had all the support in the world to continue pursuing these dreams.”

Kelce had a slow start to the season and finished with one of the lowest production seasons of his career.

His 823 receiving yards and three touchdown receptions were the lowest he's had since his rookie campaign.

It was this rocky start that led many NFL analysts to suggest that the 35-year-old would be better off ending his career after this season.

Other analysts blamed Kelce for the offseason partying, suggesting the tight end's lifestyle was responsible for his slump.

But Kelce is known for his playoff success and has a chance to erase early-season narratives when the Chiefs host Houston on Saturday.
