Trent Alexander-Arnold will become one of the highest-earning players in world football if he accepts Real Madrid's £100million contract offer, according to a report.
The 26-year-old full-back's contract expires in the summer and Mail Sport have reported that the Spanish champions are confident they can tempt him to join them.
It was revealed they are willing to pay £20m for his talent in January. His market value under normal circumstances would be much higher, but Madrid has negotiating power with Alexander-Arnold's contract expiring.
The Spanish and European champions approached Liverpool on New Year's Eve to sign the contract out of contract in January, but that was quickly rejected.
But sources in Madrid suggest they are willing to try again with an official offer and it is understood they would be willing to pay around £20m to sign Alexander-Arnold now rather than for free in the summer.

He has won eight trophies with the Reds, including the Premier League, Champions League and Club World Cup.
In addition to winning the Champions League in 2019, Alexander-Arnold lost the final against Real Madrid twice: in 2018 and again in 2022.
