Ronaldo moved to the Middle East and Saudi Arabia when he signed for Al-Nassr in early 2023 and has continued to score at an incredible rate.

The Portuguese superstar had a prolific 2023-24 season with 44 goals and 13 assists in 45 appearances in all competitions.

He also won the Saudi Pro League golden boots with 35 goals, beating the likes of Aleksandar Mitrovic, Abderrazak Hamdallah and Fashion Sakala to the award.

And Ronaldo's 2024 achievements did not go unnoticed at the star-studded Globe Soccer Dubai Awards in Dubai on Friday night.

The 39-year-old was named Best Player in the Middle East and also won the All-Time Top Goalscorer award.

It is the second time that Ronaldo has won the award, since he also won it in 2023.

During an interview at the beginning of the ceremony, Ronaldo revealed his plans after his retirement.

'I'm not a coach. Am I never going to be a coach, president of the club? No. Maybe the owner of the club,' he said.

The striker was then pressed about his comments and the interviewer asked: “Is that what you want to do, become a club owner?”

Ronaldo replied: “Probably.” I'll see it. “It will depend on the timing and the right opportunities.”

“Do you have any in mind?” the interviewer asked and Ronaldo replied: “Not yet, maybe some.”

Another notable winner of the night was Lamine Yamal, who won the “Emerging Player of the Year” trophy.

Vinicius Jr was named Best Player and Best Forward, while his Real Madrid teammate took home the award for Best Midfielder.

The winners were decided online after fans from more than 200 countries and territories cast a record 100 million votes.

Additionally, the Globe Soccer mobile app surpassed 1.5 million downloads, underscoring the global appeal of the event.
