UFC fighter Bryce Mitchell apologized for his recent comments praising Adolf Hitler and said “he is definitely not a Nazi.”
In his 'Arkansanity' program, Mitchell called Hitler 'a good guy' that he wanted to eliminate 'greedy Jews' from Germany. He also said that the Holocaust 'ain't real'.
On Saturday, Mitchell published a statement to his Instagram Page walking back the comments.
“I am sorry to sound insensitive,” he said. 'I was definitely not trying to offend anyone, but I know I did it. I know that many people died in the Holocaust, and that is a fact.
'Hitler did many evil things, I think we can all agree on that. I am definitely not a Nazi, and definitely does not approve of any of the evil things that Hitler did. '
Mitchell's comments were quickly denounced by the head of UFC, Dana White, who called the “stupid and ignorant” fighter.

Mitchell's last fight was in UFC 310 on December 7, where he knocked Kron Gracie
“I have heard many silly and ignorant shit over the years, but this is probably the worst,” White said.
Mitchell made the anti -Semitic comments in his podcast, along with the co -present Roli Delgado, earlier this week.
“Honestly, I think Hitler was a good guy based on my own research, not on my indoctrination of public education,” said the 30 -year -old.
'I really believe that before Hitler got into methamphetamine, he was a guy who was going to fish. He fought for his country. He wanted to purify him kicking the greedy Jews who were destroying his country and turning them all into gays.
'They were moving the children. They were queuing women. They were treading the guys.
When Delgado replied that it was “bad to put a complete race in camps,” Mitchell said the “is real”.
He continued: 'That is what your public education will tell you, because you believe your public education because you have not conducted your own research.
“When you realize that there is no possible way that they may have burned and increased six million bodies, you will realize that the holocaust is not real.”
Hitler presided over the systematic murder of six million Jews throughout Europe between 1941 and 1945.
Despite his statements, Mitchell insisted on his program that he is not “not a Nazi,” and added: “He (Hitler) is not perfect. I'm not a Nazi. I don't love Nazis. I don't want the Nazis to win The war just say they were in a bad place when Hitler came to power.
