Unai Emery hinted that Marcus Rashford and Marco Asensio soon made their way in the initial XI of Aston Villa while preparing to face Liverpool on Wednesday.
Villa's couple has produced impressive cameos in their two substitute outings and Emery hopes they are ready to play since the coming weeks.
Asensio shone in the victory of the FA Cup over Tottenham, while Rashford hit the bar and almost created a winner for Morgan Rogers in the 1-1 draw with Ipswich.
Emery said: 'They are in their individual process to get in shape and touch our idea tactically. We are tactically changing with those players and we have to try to practice a little in the training session to try it in matches.
'We did that in two games with Asensio and Marcus and with (in Chelsea loan defend) Axel Disasi in the last game.
'We were working every day here trying to understand our idea and we are also having some meetings. Now they are improving, understanding more and closer to playing in the initial XI.

Both players have made impressive substitute appearances since he joined Aston Villa

The head of the town said both players are getting used to what they want them in the games.

He added that the couple can inspire their teammates in the same way that Mohamed Salah does with his Liverpool colleagues.
At their best, Emery believes that the couple can inspire their teammates in the same way that Mohamed Salah brings the best of his Liverpool colleagues.
Salah has 23 goals and 14 assists only in the Premier League and Emery knows that Villa faces a great task to stop the Egyptian.
The head of Villa added: 'Salah is unique, he feels safe and comfortable, playing decent football at his best. Marcus did (in the past) and Marco Asensio did it too. My challenge with them is to get the best of them. Each one has its qualities.
