The USWNT star, Sophia Wilson, and her husband Michael Wilson, of the Arizona cardinals, announced their pregnancy with a joint publication of Instagram.
On March 5, the couple shared the exciting news with photos that show a printed image of a recent ecogram in a white -painted room.
“Life is still sweeter,” they wrote in the legend.
In November 2024, Sophia told the cardinals In addition to his search in the football field, he felt his “call to be a mother.”
“My career has to stop for a period of time when I am pregnant, so that is not something we can miss at any time,” he said then. “(But) we have been patient for a long time.”
With the pause in his athletic career happening just before Portland Thorns begins this month, the club gave Wilson all his support.

The thorns shared a congratulation post for the Wilson in X, writing: “Our number 9+1”.

The couple promised in June 2024 before getting married in January of this year.
