Virat Kohli posed for photographs with Sam Konstas' brothers during a function with Australian Prime Minister Anthony Albanese on New Year's Day.
Both India and Australia were invited to Kirribilli House in Sydney to meet the politician, who had delivered a speech at the event.
Kohli has spent a strange fortnight in Melbourne, immediately clashing with a journalist upon his arrival in Victoria, before the Indian cricket great appeared to “tap the shoulder” of Sam Konstas during the Boxing Day Test.
Kohli is yet to comment on that incident after he was fined 20 per cent of his match fee and awarded a demerit point following the incident.
While tensions were high on the field at the time, Konstas “did not take the incident seriously,” Alex Carey said, and seemed calm about the situation in a post-match interview.
He even went on to troll Kohli after the affair, appearing to hilariously imitate Kohli's shoulder tap in front of fans at the MCG on Sunday.

Despite the incident, it appears the pair have put their grudge behind them and Kohli was seen posing for a photo during the event at Kirribilli House with the NSW star's siblings.

“Thank you to Prime Minister Albanese for his hospitality and for celebrating the McGrath Foundation.”
They also posed for a photo with bowling star Jasprit Bumrah.
Meanwhile, his brother Sam enjoyed a sensational Test debut this week, despite being bowled out for eight runs during the second innings of Australia's 184-run victory on Monday.
In the first innings, the 19-year-old New South Wales batsman would attack Jasprit Bumrah twice, hitting for six, on his way to a score of 60 in the debut Test.
Konstas, however, is very close to his brothers, who were left shocked after the Australian star tried to attack Bumrah.
“We had an intercom at home, so there were no ramps in the backyard,” he told Fox Cricket.
Konstas appeared to mock Kohli earlier in the week after the flashpoint, when the Australian Test debutant pretended to imitate the blow on Kohil's shoulder.

'He always played with a straight bat and always V, so I don't know where he got the ramps from.
'We'd set up a full five-day test series and pretend we were in the Ashes and we'd be one of our favorite players.
“I was bowling with Sam for six or seven hours and I couldn’t get him out.
Then we had Grandma's feast for lunch and the few leftovers after lunch were a little iffy. But there was no increase,” he added.
Thanks to Konstas's brilliance on Boxing Day, Australia would take a 2-1 lead in the Border-Gavaskar Series, with both teams meeting one last time in Sydney later this week.
Billy, however, revealed that he, his siblings and his parents had been on a rollercoaster ride this week watching Konstas make his debut.
“We didn't have a lot of expectations today, we were just trying to soak in the experience,” Billy said.
“It feels like we're all in the middle with him. This week has been hectic, my parents have been quite nervous and excited.'
