Wendy Williams Can refer to hardcore criminals -that she committed a crime -but her life reflects someone who is limited to a prison cell.
TMZ has made a documentary about Tubi, “TMZ presented Wendy” … that examined her guardianship, which has been taking for years. As she says, her life is isolated. It is located in a residential facility supported in New York City, which is limited in a room on the 5th floor.
Wendy cannot leave the soil without permission of the staff. She says she has been outside in the fresh air in the last 30 days … Both times for dentist dates.
Almost nobody can visit her. Nobody can call her. She can make calls, but that's it. It has no access to the Internet. She eats in her room because she says that it is extremely depressing to be around 90-year-olds with serious health problems.
Harvey And others have spent hours on the phone with Wendy and to a person everyone says they are back to the old Wendy. She is clear, follows conversations and committed … she is again.
The Guardian says Wendy is permanently deactivated due to frontotemporal dementia … the problem is that the condition never gets better. Wendy was in poor condition a few years ago when she drank hard, but she is now sober and her mental state has improved radically … Many say that she is normal again, but it is still under an incredibly restrictive Guardianship.
The only way to make the documentary was to place a camera on the sidewalk, where we shot it on the 5th floor by the window when she spoke to us by phone.
The documentary -“TMZ Presents: Saving Wendy” – is available free of charge on Tubi.
