The young West Coast Eagles star, Reuben Ginbey, learned of her destination after the police accused him after she was supposedly trapped by urinating in a public at a music festival in January.
On Wednesday, the 20 -year -old received a fine of $ 1000 and received a spent sentence after he declared himself guilty of disorderly conduct positions and not complying with police instructions.
It is said that the incident took place at the Wildlands Festival in Brisbane on January 4.
The midfielder, who was recruited in the club in 2022, received his sanction in Jondalup Courthouse in Perth on Wednesday after Judge Raelene Johnston described her behavior as a “stupid decision.”
Ginbey, who was the winner of the emerging talent of the Eagles in the best awards of the club for the 2024 season, since then has broken his silence in the matter.
“I would like to apologize for my actions,” he said in a statement published on the Footy Club website on Wednesday.
'They were not the standard that I expect from myself, or others expect from me.
“I will learn from this and thank the club for its support throughout the process.”
The general manager of Football Gavin Bell added: “Our support for Reuben will be ongoing and we will continue to educate and keep our players with the values and behaviors we expect.”
The Eagles had previously met around Ginbey in an attempt to help young people of 6 feet 2 incident to recover from the incident.
Ginbey was recruited in the club in 2022 and has made 40 appearances for the west coast in the last two seasons, especially resulting 23 times last season, averaging 15.6 provisions per game.
The 20 -year -old had returned to preseason training earlier this month with teammate Matt Flynn stating that the team had been supporting the young man.
“He made a little mistake and the boys will throw it and support him the best they can,” Flynn said in early January.
'It was unfortunate that he put himself in that position. I am sure that he will copy what is presented to him.
“He is a great boy, so we will support him and let him in his 2025 and have another really good year.”
