West Ham reach a unique milestone as Carlos Soler becomes their 175th Premier League goalscorer… so where does YOUR club rank throughout history?

West Ham made midweek history during Graham Potter's first game in charge as they recorded a thrilling 3-2 win over Fulham on Tuesday night.

Goals from Carlos Soler, Tomás Soucek and midfielder Lucas Paquetá gave the hosts a surprise victory over the struggles they endured under former boss Julen Lopetegui.

The Spaniard's sacking has breathed new life into the Hammers and history was made against London rivals Fulham as they became the first team to record 175 different goalscorers in the Premier League.

Soler's first goal against Marco Silva's team earned the Hammers a historic milestone as he became the 37th player to score a single goal for the club in the English top flight.

Meanwhile, the injured Michail Antonio, who is still recovering from a serious car collision which left him in intensive care, tops the list as the Hammers' most prolific goalscorer.

Antonio has scored 68 Premier League goals since joining the club in 2015 from Nottingham Forest, while his teammate and current club captain Jarrod Bowen is just 20 goals behind. Mail Sport delves into the standings of each club in the league throughout the top flight's history.

The Hammers are considering taking advantage of the January transfer window to resolve their issues with Red Bull Leipzig striker Andre Silva among their top targets.

Hammers boss Potter is attempting to find an immediate solution to their goalscoring problem and was positive about the club's future prospects under his management following the midweek win.

'We had to be creative with the attacking options we had. The performance was one of great effort, great togetherness and understanding that sometimes we must suffer,” Potter said.

'It was far from perfect in the long term, but it is a base. “There is a lot to do, but it is a great start,” he added.
