The Pete Carroll movement to the Raiders means that the Chiefs will probably retain one of their best coaches next season.
Carroll, 73, was used by the owner of Las Vegas minorities, Tom Brady, to be the next head of the franchise.
And that is great news for the Chiefs, since its defensive coordinator Steve Spagnuolo had previously interviewed for the role.
Since he joined the franchise in 2019, Spagnuolo has led one of the most tacental defensive units in the league, since they have allowed less than 20 points per game in three separated seasons.
The Kansas City brand of only 19.2 points allowed by game this season occupied fourth place in the NFL.
That, as expected, helped Spagnuolo actions during this cycle of training interviews, and also met with the Jaguars and Jets to discuss their chief training roles.

Carroll's transfer to Las Vegas means that Spagnuolo will probably remain with Patrick Mahomes and Co.
A four-time Super Bowl champion (with his first arrival as the defensive coordinator of the giants), Spagnuolo was the chief coach of the RAM of 2009-11 and compiled a record of 10-38.
He also trained the giants for four games as an interim coach in 2017.
The success of the Chiefs this season, since they had 15-2 in the regular season, also led to interest in the offensive coordinator Matt Nagy.
Nagy, previously the bears chief coach, interviewed for the position of coach in chief of the Jets.
That role has been occupied by the former offensive coordinator of the Lions, Aaron Glenn.
While Brady previously revealed that he would have a 'passive' role with the Raiders, that has proven to be anything but the case.
The Patriots' legend assumed an active role in helping to interview the candidates for the chief coach, and Adam Schefter of ESPN also talked about how Brady was calling the shots in Las Vegas.
“It was Tom leading an organization and finding someone for what to respect,” he said in the Pat McAfee show.
As coach in the Jets (one season), Patriots (three seasons) and Seahawks (14 seasons), Carroll has accumulated a 170-120-1 record in the NFL, and took Seattle to the Super Bowl during the 2013 season .
He also trained USC in the 2001-09 university ranks and won two national championships there.
