An ugly fight broke out during a local Cricket match in Victoria on Saturday, with several players involved in the violent incident.
Video taken during the party to Grade between the Roralgon Rovers and the Gormandale Tigers in Duncan Cameron Memorial Park shows the melee development.
A rovers dough went through a bowling player of the tigers on his way for a fast single when there was an apparent exchange of words.
Seconds later, the couple faced each other, with the bowling player trying to hit the hitter.
The incident caused the players to run, with the bowling player again attacking the retired batter with blows while a teammate from the Tigers fought him against the grass.
The players left the field shortly after with the game delayed in thirty minutes.
Gormandale Cricket Club issued a statement on Sunday morning addressing the ugly scenes.
