Legendary WWE Superstar Mick Foley has hinted at a possible return to the ring after providing a health update on his notable weight loss journey.
Foley officially announced his retirement from wrestling in 2013 following a lifelong stint in the sport where he gained global status on the WWE circuit after forging an early career in rival organizations.
The 59-year-old wrestled under various character identities during his time in the sport with Cactus Jack and Mankind among the aliases used as Foley's popularity won him fans around the world.
However, the American has battled obesity issues in recent years and described his previous condition as “a heart attack waiting to happen” before deciding to lose the extra pounds.
Now, a rejuvenated Foley has explained in his youtube channel how he has dropped from a bloated 163kg to 127kg with the help of exercise, healthy eating and medication.
“I did it the old fashioned way, it was actually a three-step process,” the WWE icon said.

'Eat healthier, exercise and cheat. I went to see a doctor, they saw me at over 370 pounds and suggested I could use some help in the form of Wegovy. I know some people call it cheating, but I thought it was leveling the playing field.
'I had lost all my strength, my metabolism was at its lowest point, I was gaining weight day by day. “I couldn't walk up a slight incline when I got off the plane without having to sit for five or ten minutes,” he added.
“I thought, 'I'm about to have a heart attack,' and if I need a little help, I should take it.” Man, I'm taking it pretty easy. DDPYoga, some swimming.
“I'm not 21 years old, I can't throw myself into doing things like I did last year and think I can go back to training like I did when I was 21 and in pretty good shape.” I feel pretty good. “I feel good,” Foley said.

The wrestling veteran then continued to tease his followers that he might appear at this year's Royal Rumble event, where he refused to give a definitive answer on whether he would appear.
'I wouldn't say I'm not going to participate in the Royal Rumble. But I'm not going to enter the Royal Rumble (laughs),' he said.
'No, that's a big jump from what I've been saying. (The phone rings). Wait, let me get this straight. Hmm, 203? Hello? (Triple H's theme song plays). Hello hunter. I'm not well. Did you see me in Nightmare Rumble?
'I've lost some weight, yes. I've been exercising. Real Rumble? Let me call you right now. Thanks, Triple H,” Foley joked.
